If you have not owned a home in the past three years, you may be eligible to participate in the First Time Homebuyer Program.

What programs are available to assist first-time homebuyers?

Does Community Housing Trust of Monterey County, Inc provide any funding in the form of grants?

No. All of CHTMC Housing’s programs provide funding in the form of low interest loans. CHTMC does not provide funding in the form of grants.

Does a Home buyer need to work in Monterey County?

Yes, The homebuyer must work in Monterey County.
